Poisonous meal claims four lives

Four members of a family have died and another eight fainted after taking the poisonous meal in "Sehri" in Chak No 165/GB in Rahimyar Khan district. Head of the family Noor Hassan said: "We were taking meal for fasting on Sunday. After taking meal Rehmatullah (13) fainted, who died within no time.
Later, Mst. Salma (30), and two children Muhammad Adil and Abdul Rashid also fainted. They were immediately removed to Shaikh Zaid bin Sultan Hospital, Rahimyar Khan where they were pronounced dead on arrival. However, another eight members of his family survived.
"We have taken the poisonous meal in our custody for laboratory test," DPO Rahimyar Khan Syed Ahsan Mehboob told newsmen.
