Corey Collymore appealed for more consistency from his fellow West Indian fast bowlers after playing a starring role on the opening day of the first Test against Australia here on Thursday.
Collymore bowled an inspired spell of 3-2 off 11 balls with movement off the pitch to reduce the Australians to 111 for four soon after lunch, but inexplicably he was not call on to bowl in the last two hours of play.
The Australians, with skipper Ricky Ponting top-scoring with 149, rallied to get to stumps at 340 for seven.
The 27-year-old Barbados paceman finished the day with 4-47 off 18 overs and was easily the best of the bowlers.
"I think they got away from us a bit, not in the last session, but probably a little bit before that when the captain (Ricky Ponting) and vice-captain (Adam Gilchrist) were batting," Collymore said.
