A most wanted dacoit, Iqbal Bali Badru Fauji, was killed while his three accomplices slipped away under the cover of darkness after an encounter with the Satiana Police in Chak No 227-GB, here on Friday night.
According to Police sources, Iqbal Bali Badru Fauji was wanted in more than 100 cases of murder, robberies and police encounters, etc was staying in his village 227-GB after committing a robbery along with three accomplices.
On receiving information, the police chased them and challenged them near Chak No 227-GB. During exchange of firing, Iqbal Bali Badru Fauji was killed while his three accomplices managed to slip away under the cover of darkness.
