Cotton worth Rs 10 million was gutted in Gojra Niayab Cotton factory, when a huge fire broke out in cotton stock area due to unknown reason. Gojra Niayab Cotton Factory is situated at about 45 km from here.
The fire tenders rushed to the spot two hours late and cotton bales worth Rs 10 million was gutted completed. The rescue work continued for the whole day even after the fire was put out in six hours.
