PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electricity Supply Company's Board of Directors in its 111th meeting held at Wapda House here approved purchase of 4000 KM PVC and 1000 KM Conductor for facilitation of consumers.
The Chairman BoD Pesco Malik Muhammad Asad Khan presided over the meeting. Company Secretary presented minutes of 110th BOD meeting which were approved after detailed discussions, says a press release.
The meeting discussed the measures taken to make Pesco profitable entity.
The Chairman said we have to put Pesco on the path of success and profitability and suggested new ideas and proposals in this regard.
He extended full cooperation to the management and said we have to improve performance and develop PESCO as a Consumer Friendly Company.
The meeting approved purchase of 1000 KM Conductor, 4000 KM PVC, Purchase of Circuit Breakers, Bus Isolators, Lighting arresters, Incoming panals and Relays under ADB loan.
The Board of Governors also approved amount for repair of damaged distribution transformers of 200 KVA and 100 KVA. A briefing was also given to BoD about the Photo Meter Reading. The BoD directed for 100% implementation of it as early as possible.
The Chief Executive Pesco Anwar UlHaq Yousafzai gave presentation about Pesco performance and vowed to do his best for the betterment of the Company.
He said employees have to be efficient in resolving consumer's complaints and requested masses to remove direct hooks (Kundas). A number of other managerial and administrative matters on the agenda were also approved.
