The scrutinisers appointed by governing board of Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) for holding annual elections of new board of the exchange for 2006, have announced that candidates can file nominations on prescribed forms from Monday, November 28 to Friday, December 02, 2005.
The papers will be filed with the secretary of the exchange during the office hours Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The papers will be scrutinised on Monday December 05, 2005 in presence of the candidates or their authorised representatives. According to the schedule, nomination papers can be withdrawn by Wednesday, December 07, 2005, during the office hours. Final list of the candidates, along with their proposers and seconders will be displayed on Friday, December 09, 2005.
Polling for election of five directors of the exchange will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. The scrutinisers appointed by the board in its meeting on Saturday, November 19, 2005, comprise the following members of the LSE: Javed Iqbal, Khwaja Imtiaz Ahmed, Ilyas Shafi and Mirza Muhammad Riaz Baig.
