The First Karachi International Book Fair (KIBF) will commence at the Karachi Expo centre from December 7. The event is being held in collaboration with the Pakistan Publishers' and Booksellers' Association (PPBA).
Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy, Dr Hamida Khuhro, will be the chief guest at the inaugural session.
The Convenor of the KIEF, Amena Saiyid, will present the welcome address.
Dr Romila Thapar, Professor of Emeritus at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, will deliver a talk at the inaugural session of the KIBF.
The Chairman of PPBA, Aziz Khalid, will present the vote of thanks on the occasion.
