The undue delay in the departure of Nawaz Shari's family to London for the treatment of his son is causing concern in the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) circles.
According to the PML leaders, though President Musharraf allowed the issuance of fresh passports to Mian Nawaz Sharif and his family members but they had not yet been issued visas for himself and his family members by the British government for reasons not known.
The passport issued to him and his family members of only for three years.
The family is expected to stay for a longer period in London in connection with the treatment of his son.
Though there is very little likelihood of Nawaz returning to Pakistan but his close associates are keen that Mian should be allowed to return home.
According to a foreign press report the fate of Nawaz Sharif's family might be decided in Saudi Arabia when President Pervez Musharraf visits Jeddah and holds talks with the Saudi ruler.
