Maritime Security Agency (MSA) on Saturday said its ship Rehmat apprehended seven Indian fishing boats along with 40 crew fishing illegally in Pakistani waters.
According to an MSA press release, the ship while on routine patrol in Eastern Maritime Region found those boats fishing illegally about 50 kilometers inside Pakistan's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
Apprehended fishermen have been handed over to Docks Police for further legal action, it added.
