Commissioner Sindh Employees Social Security Institutions (Sessi) Rasool Bux Phulphoto has asked the medical officers to create congenial atmosphere in the dispensaries and to provide proper health care services to the registered persons.
He was addressing the members of the examining committee constituted to look into the quality of services the dispensaries set up under Sessi were providing to registered workers and their families on Monday in his office.
Phulphoto said that affairs of the health outlets functioning under Landhi, Korangi and City Circular sections were in need of cleanliness. Maintenance of record and patients' profile were missing and the kind of treatment being provided to various secured workers was not up to the mark.
"The record should show in one glance the entire working of a center. This kind of medical record keeping should be initiated without any delay," he added.
The Sessi commissioner said that the number of health outlets whether big hospitals of dispensaries has gone up from 36 to 39. Phulphoto said during the current fiscal year Rs 600.40 million would be spent on health care and Rs 93 million for the purchase of medicines.
He said that the ceiling of impress money has been re-fixed from Rs 200 to Rs 500 by the Defence High School.
