A prize distribution ceremony was held at Progressive Public School (Gulshan) Karachi to award one of the proud winners of " My Bright Smile' Global Art contest, 2005.
Muhammad Bilal Khan, one of the winners, awarded 250 dollars and his school also received 500 dollars. Moreover, his winning artwork will also be printed in the Colgate Global Calendar of 2006.
This year there are three winners from Pakistan out of 12 global winners. The other two winners, who made Pakistan proud, are Muhammad Uzair Khan of Bloomfield Hall School, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bushra Kashif of Alpine Montessori and Junior School, Lahore. These two winners have also won 250 dollars each and their schools have won 500 dollars each from the Colgate.
Colgate "My Bright Smile" Global Art contest falls under the umbrella of Colgate's oral health education programme, "Bright Smiles, Bright Futures" for children all over the world. Pakistan has been participating and winning in this contest for the last five years.
Mrs Ghazala Zahoor, principal of the Progressive Public School, said: "Colgate's My Bright Smile Global Art contest is a good way to identify hidden talents within our children."
Colgate-Palmolive organises a prize awarding ceremony for the winners of Colgate "My Bright Smile" Global Art contest for children every year. Colgate has congratulated the three talented young Pakistani winners and their schools and wished them the very best for their future endeavour.
