Pakistan Kisan Movement has alleged that leading tractor manufacturers were involved in black mailing and black marketing, which was causing huge losses to farmers community.
A press release issued here on Sunday said that in a meeting of Pakistan Kisan Movement which was presided over by its President, Muhammad Ishfaq, the participants urged its leadership to take up the issue with the government functionaries. Speaking in the meeting, Secretary General Pakistan Kisan Movement Chaudhry Hanif Gujar said that a tractor manufacture company was making undue delay in the delivery of the tractors to the farmers and alleged that it was booking tractors randomly but delaying the delivery for over one year period.
He said that the company was receiving full amount as down payment and was utilising the same without paying any mark up to the farmers. He said that the company representative were also not paying refunds to farmers, terming it against the company policy.-PR
