Minister for Religious Affairs Ijaz-ul-Haq said that December 31's deadline for the registration of religious institutions would be extended. "Because of earthquake and some other reasons, we are going to extend the December 31 deadline," he told reporters.
The minister termed his recent meeting with Ittehad-e- Tanzeemat-e-Deeniya successful as its leaders accepted amended ordinance.
