Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has offered to all the trade associations to show their willingness for running the police mobile vans in their areas.
In a letter issued here, the KCCI said that the willing trade associations would have to take care of the expenses, which are approximately Rs 15,000 a month that includes fuel, driver's salary, stipend of the four policemen deputed in the mobile van and maintenance of the mobile van.
These police vans are currently performing their duties at Kapra Market, Jodia Bazaar and Electronic Market.
The KCCI asked the willing associations to send their willingness to the Karachi Chamber before December 31, 2005. This offer is on first come, first served basis and this contract will be on a year basis.
