The Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Ghous Bux Khan Mahar Monday condoled the death of former chief minister and speaker Punjab, Muhammad Hanif Ramay.
In his condolence message here the minister said the death of Hanif Ramay had deprived the nation of a saint, researcher and intellectual and politician who always demonstrated decency and moderation in politics.
Hanif Ramay while serving as speaker Punjab Assembly, Governor and Chief Minister Punjab had set golden traditions of democratic values and his opponents also had a great regard for him, Mahar said.
The Federal Minister prayed that Allah Almighty might rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
