Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, chairing a meeting on Information Technology Park here on Wednesday, said that this project would provide job opportunities to 10,000 persons.
He said the project would be instrumental in promotion of trade that would entail economic activity worth Rs 9 million. He said that Information Technology Park would be the latest high tech building in the country.
This project would provide opportunity of work to computer science graduates, soft ware developers, network engineers, management graduates and people related to field of software information technology, he added.
Punjab Information Technology Board Chairman Ameen Sheikh was present on the occasion.
