Maulana Nauman Rashid Ludhiyanvi son of JUI Punjab President Maulana Rashid Ahmed Ludhiyanvi, District President of Anjuman Talaba-i- Islam, Mian Asif Mahmood, and Sheraz alias Shera were arrested by Quetta police and recovered stolen mobile phones and pay-cards of different companies from their possession.
The police granted their remand from the court of local magistrate in RahimYarkhan.
Syed Ahsan Mehboob, DPO Rahimyar Khan told Business Recorder that the Quetta police had arrested the accused on the charges of burgling into a mobile shop, stealing mobile phones, and pay-cards worth Rs 2.2 million on December 26,2005.
He said the police had seized some cell phones from their possession and took them to Quetta for further interrogation.
