Mobilink, the country's leading cellular service and part of the Orascom Telecom group, continues to remain ahead of the competition as the leading cellular company in Pakistan and has expanded its GPRS powered services with WAP portal to the city of Sialkot.
Its advanced GPRS service is the foremost in relevant technology and convenience.
According to a press release issued by Mobilink here on Monday, GPRS and SMS technologies had been present in the market but with the launch of this service by the country's largest service provider, an anticipated move expected by its customer base in the city of Sialkot, would add further value, making the cellular experience of customers more productive and interesting.
Bilal Munir Sheikh, Director Marketing, Mobilink said, "with the launch of GPRS powered services in Sialkot, we have also recently introduced the BlackBerry solution for our customers.
BlackBerry is a proven business power-tool used around the world, available with over 100 wireless carriers in 40 countries world-wide. It is the leading wireless enterprise solution offered by Research in Motion (RIM) Ltd and introduced by Mobilink in Pakistan keeping mobile professionals connected to people and information while on the go.
It is a proven platform that provides users around the world, and now in Pakistan, with secure, wireless access to a full suite of business applications that include email, phone, SMS, web, and organiser features.
Sheikh further elaborated, "Mobilink World, powered by GPRS, is our platform for new and innovative services, which will change the way our customers in the city of Sialkot can experience their mobile connection. It will provide them access to a choice of services from their mobile phone, reducing the time they spend on searching the web."
"Mobilink GPRS service is now available in Sialkot along with Peshawar, Gujranwala, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Bhurban, Muzaffarabad and Faisalabad for both our post-paid (Indigo) and prepaid (Jazz) customers." he added.-PR
