Lahore High Court has on Tuesday issued notice to father-in-law of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and former senator Hakim Ali Zardari in a petition challenging the decision of an accountability court.
The petitioner had challenged the decision of the accountability court that rejected his plea to send back the reference to the referring being not maintainable.
The court after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length admitted the petition for regular hearing and issued a notice to the applicant. The accused was facing charges for acquiring a plot through use of political influence and in the process causing loss to public exchequer worth millions of rupees.
