The Horticulture Foundation of Pakistan (HEP) is organising a two-day national conference on 'Streamlining and export of vegetable crops' from Tuesday at National Agricultural Research Centre (Narc).
The conference is being organised in close collaboration and with active support of the National Agencies and Organisations having interest in the promotion of vegetables, HEP President Dr Saeed Ahmed said here on Monday.
He said Pakistan had the ingredients to be successful in the production of quality vegetables, however their production and export needed to be modernised to meet the national standards adding the conference would provide opportunities to workout strategies to attain well-stated objectives. Dr Saeed said that all the stakeholders engaged in the business were invited to participate for threadbare discussion on various issues.
