Women from all walks of life expecting that the outcome of the Women's Expo 2006 will prove beneficial and constructive to the new generation, will help in facing the global challenges, Zaib, Advocate High Court expressed her feelings on Wednesday.
The Women's Expo fair will be held in Karachi from 13 to 16 April, 2006 and is being organised by the Dimension Pvt Ltd in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Development, government of Pakistan. Other government and Non-government organisations such as provincial ministries of women developments, Unesco, WHO UNFPA, Sindh Education Foundaion, Apwa, Pawla, Bunyad, Aurat Foundation and School of Leadership.
Zaib, is also Legal Aid Secretary of the Pakistan Lawyer Association (Pawla) said that I am happy but request the provincial and federal governments to take the necessary measures to accelerate the process of work in social, legal, education, financial and other several sectors.
She said it's very optimistic for the women that the Federal Minister for Women Development Work, Nilofer Bakhtiar and Provincial Minister, Saeeda Malik is taking their special interest in the women development works.
Other official of the First Women Bank (FWB) said that due to their hard efforts, today's women have a single platform where they can share their ideas to improve their status in the society.
This is a great occasion and is the first ever national Inter-active platform for the women, who would promote the perception of the women in the world, she said.
It is true that we are still behind in the globe in several sectors, it is also our duty to provide perfect impression, regarding progress in the women development works, she added.
She stressed the women to attend this exhibition not just to enjoy the time, must take full advantages of facilities provided by the government, so they would be able to achieve the goal in challenging world and the country may be able to increase exports days to come, she said.
