Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (Piaf) Chairman Muhammad Ali Mian, Vice-Chairmen Mubashar Sheikh and Mian Abuzar Shad and Pakistan Association of Auto parts Exports (Paapex) Chairman Tahir Javed Malik have urged the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) to reject the request of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company (SNGPL) for increase in the gas prices.
In a joint statement issued here on Monday, they said that Pakistani products due to repeated increase in the utility prices were loosing the capability to compete in the international market. They said that Ogra during public hearing of this request should also keep in view reaction of business community and the general public.
