Cocoa futures finished flat to a notch down on Friday as options-related activity weighed on nearby prices at the end of the session, traders said.
The New York Board of Trade's active cocoa contract for May delivery eased $2 to settle at $1,494 a tonne, after trading from $1,492 to $1,501 - inside the past week's trading range. July cocoa lost $1 to end at $1,523, and the rest of the curve concluded flat to down $2.
