Seven members of a family died and three others sustained bullet injuries when 25 armed persons on Sunday night attacked their house and sprayed bullets with automatic weapons in a village Kalo Sahi near Mangwal, Gujrat district.
The incident took place at 8.30 pm on Sunday. The deceased include Umer Hayat, his wife Naseem, three daughters Adeeba, Sana, Um-e-Rehman, two sons Ali Hassan and Shahid Raza. Afshan and Farda, two daughters of deceased Umer Hayat and another boy Umer Farooq sustained bullet injuries. Police have registered the first information report (FIR) against 25 persons.
