The twentieth century has made enormous progress in the field of science and technology advancement and the world has shrunk to a global village. The influence of rapidly spreading of knowledge has revolutionized our lives.
The IGATEX exhibition is the platform to significantly extend participation from the local and international textile machinery of Pakistan. Through this exhibition state of the art excellent services will be stalled. Such exhibitions play a vital role in mobilizing and inspiring entrepreneurs to exhibit their products in the large number, trade visitors, prospective investors which benefits the country's economy as a whole. Textile sector is vital to our economy from employment to its population. There is a need to maximize value added products from our valued and quality cotton growth in Pakistan.
I am pleased to see that Pakistan through the IGATEX 2006 offering to the rest of the world. Its great achievements in the modern technology to display the different textile machinery.
As we have successfully entered the post quota era. Our textile sector seems to be both optimistic and pessimistic at the same time to meet the new challenges. This exhibition will get an opportunity to business and opinion leaders of different nations to interact and do brainstorming through fairs and exhibitions.
I am also delighted to see IGATEX 2006, being organized in Karachi, a major hub of Textile. Textile sector is the backbone of our economy and holds great importance as its significantly contributes to our exports and foreign exchange earnings.
