Punjab acting Governor Muhammad Afzal Sahi welcoming Ambika Soni, Union Minister for Cultural & Tourism India, here on Wednesday said process of composite dialogue initiated between both countries would bring peace and stability in the South Asia region.
He said it was in the interest of the both countries to promote peace. He said it goes to the credit of President Pervez Musharraf that tension had gone down in the region. Indian Union Minister offered to hold festival of Pakistani films in Mumbai on the occasion. Soni said the Pakistani government should specify time of this festival.
She mentioned of popularity of Pakistani television dramas in India. The Union Minister averred that people of both neighbouring countries wanted peaceful solution of issues in the region.
