Pakistan Muslim League -N has demanded of the Speaker of National Assembly to issue production orders for MNA Javed Hashmi and not to show his partiality and bias in favour of the ruling party and must be impartial as he is custodian of the House.
Addressing a meeting here on Friday Noor-ul-Hassan, Bilal Butt, Zaman Shah, Nafees Ansari, Allah Nawaz Durrani, Imtiaz Gulzar Chattan, Tanveer Ahmed Khan and others said that PPP and PML (N) have got united for political struggle to restore constitutional rights of the People.
They said that religious extremists were allowed to take out rallies, while political parties were denied their right to protest. They said General Musharraf was not acceptable to the PML-N--either in uniform or without it, and the party was not striking any deal with the General to come to power.
About privatisation of national assets, they said PMLN would not accept selling of assets as a result of which thousands of people were left jobless. Noor said the rulers were preaching moderation and enlightenment to get the sympathies of America but the countrymen had rejected the said agenda of the rulers. He said that Nawaz was a great leader who was loyal to the country and the people but some elements hatched a conspiracy against his government. He had strengthened the country but he was deprived of his power. He said Nawaz Sharif would not compromise with the rulers, "who are not loyal with the nation and the country".
He urged the workers to forget their differences and gather on one platform to get rid of the Musharraf government.
