Head of newly formed AJK Peoples Muslim League, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry on Sunday demanded to include Kashmiri leadership in the dialogue process between Pakistan and India for a durable solution of Kashmir issue.
"Kashmiris are the main party to the longstanding issue and the ongoing dialogue process can not move forward without their participation," he told a press conference at his residence after a brief visit to the United Kingdom.
He said the Kashmir issue must be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of people of Kashmir and Untied Nations Security Council resolutions.
"During my visit, I again reiterated my stance regarding participation of Kashmiri people in the dialogue process in a meeting with the members of European Parliament," he added.
Stressing a need to raise Kashmir issue at the international fora in an aggressive manner, he said this issue had entered to a decisive phase and various options were being floated in this regard.
He appreciated the proposals of demilitarisation and opening of the Line of Control (LOC) and termed the steps in the right direction.
