The fifth exhibition of Textile Machinery & Accessories gathered huge crowds in Karachi supplementing its success and gaining immense response from the textile industry players.
More than 450 companies from around 30 countries participated in the exhibition, which was attended by a large number of highly targeted trade visitors from corporate and business sector of the country, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
Countries, who participated in the exhibition included Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK & USA.
Immense foreign participation at the exhibition reflected their satisfaction over the success of Igatex 2006 in the field of Textile machinery trade and industry.
After visiting the exhibition, they were of the opinion that Igatex could now easily be compared with any international exhibition.
The press release said the perception of foreigners had also been changed regarding Pakistan and its investment prospects and they were exploring new opportunities here in Pakistan to expand their business existence.
Persistent with success, Igatex 2006 witnessed an encouraging response from the buyers. This was evident from the sale of machinery at the exhibition worth millions of dollars, generating revenues and increasing pace for technology and trade, the statement added.
Professional visits of government officials, top decision-makers, onsite display of latest in technology, MoUs and interactive session between buyers and sellers witnessed the success of Igatex. It certainly had contributed in augmenting the local economy by providing an ideal source of business interaction, visitors said.-PR
