With the voluminous support of Sindh government, FPCCI, Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs is organising the International Women Leadership Conference & Women Excellence Awards 2006, at Karachi on 12th & 13th May 2006. This was stated by Rukhsana Jahangir, chairperson of FPCCI Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs.
While informing about the details, she said that the basic concept of this conference is to address issues relevant to today's women with the aim to raise awareness among women professionals on the importance of updated finance and management skills and information to effectively manage their business and professional careers.
This conference is designed for experienced women business leaders in upper, middle and senior levels of management, as well as emerging and successful women entrepreneurs.
There is a great need to delineate positive side of our women such as their participation and contribution in various walks of life and for that they need a platform where they can meet, discuss their issues, vocalise their concerns, celebrate their achievements, efforts towards women development & empowerment coverage and highlight their contribution in the society.-PR
