It is a matter of great pleasure for me that M/s Triple-E is organising an International Seminar on Women Leadership and on this occasion Awards Ceremony will also be held in collaboration with the FPCCI Standing Committee of women entrepreneurs to confer the awards to the distinct women who have contributed their service in the economic growth of the country, and in other different fields and professions.
Business Recorder is also publishing a special supplement to highlight the role of women played in the development of society.
The present government has taken steps to empower women for making their role effective in the society by allocating 33 percent quota in the local government. This has opened the doors for ladies to utilise their skills and facilitate the women who want to develop their talents playing to bring a change in the lives of women to empower them.
I would also like to mention here that haqparast leadership with the vision of Quaid Altaf Hussain believes in the women equal status and opportunity that make them empowered in their social and political life. Hence this is the only party in the country which has encouraged women practically to come forward to play their role in the society and the great respect that women enjoy in this party also reflects the policy of our Quaid.
I hope this conference will play an important role to support the efforts being made for the empowerment and social status to give women.
