A girl was killed on Wednesday when suspected insurgents blew up a gas pipeline in Sui, while two policemen were shot dead in a separate attack. The seven-year-old girl was on her way to school with her mother when a bomb exploded near the pipeline in the town of Sui.
"The girl, Mah Noor, died on the spot while her mother was wounded when they were hit by shrapnel," local official Abdul Samad Lasi told AFP. Tribal insurgents raided a police post in the neighbouring Dera Bugti town early on Wednesday and killed two policemen, police said. The assailants took away the policemen's weapons.
