Pakistan's total exports to the US grew by 18 percent, one of the highest increases during March-April 2006 and in volume terms, it is the third largest exporter to US.
In the latest figures released by the US Office of Textiles and Apparel, Pakistan's apparel exports stood at dollars 279 million. In volumes, Pakistan exports outperformed that of India and China, Business Standard reported on Wednesday. Comparatively, China's apparel exports saw a dip in value terms at dollars 2.9 billion. US Apparel imports from China again declined in March although the decrease was not as great as the 25 percent fall seen in February.
