Bulls strengthened their positions on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready board amid increase in index. ISE Ten index was plus by 95.85 points as the ten index moved from 2,654.07 to 2,749.92 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 727,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 340,800 shares. A total of 119 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (76) closed in positive territory, 42 landed in minus column, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 234,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 69,100 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 207,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 83,100 shares. The turnover of Pakistan PTA was 100,000 shares.
