The present government has Accorded highest priority to the development of telecom industry in Pakistan and declared telecom as priority area for the economic growth.
It is important to mention here that the government of Pakistan has not only developed very constructive policies in telecom sector but also has provided many incentives to attract foreign and local investment in this sector which was evident from the previous years foreign and local participation in this business. The benefits of the deregulation policy of the government has reached to a very public level as telecom rates drastically reduced in last year and communication became much easier than ever before for millions of people using the latest technology at affordable price.
With so much put in by the government and the enthusiasm shown at the government level, the participation of private sectors in various capacities is also highly encouraged. I am much pleased to learn that in order to boost the telecom industry in Pakistan, the need of arranging exhibitions and organisation conferences is being fulfilled by a private company.
"The Exhibitor", indeed it is the best time for Pakistan telecom industry to show its strength in the region and attract the more foreign investors for future growth. I hope the "C-Future-2006 Exhibition" under the banner of "Communicating the Innovation" will definitely support the idea of bringing investment to Pakistan exhibiting the local market potential.
I wish all the success for this second event of its kind in Pakistan and expect mega success like the previous year event. I urge all related professional, companies, groups, business sectors, corporate and allied industries to participate into the event and support in making this a big success for telecom industry as well. I also assure them full support and help at government level.
