Being the organiser of Pakistan largest Telecom Exhibition I proudly welcome all the participants, guests and foreign delegates to C- Future Telecom Exhibition and Telecom Excellence Award ceremony 2006 being held from June 3rd to 4th in Expo Centre Karachi duly organised by "The Exhibitor (Pvt) Limited" in collaboration with "Pakistan Export Corporation" .
There is no doubt that Pakistan has a great potential in the growth of telecom industry due to availability of infrastructure and liberal policies recently introduce by the present government . What to do we need is to explore the maximum opportunities locally, regionally and globally with a determined direction to give a boost to this sector rather than getting involved in random mushroom growth.
Telecom sector has emerged as the fasted growing sector in Pakistan after it throw its doors open to the private sector.
Competition brought in lower tariffs and cheaper handsets and accessories, which saw Pakistani people jumping on to the mobile bandwagon with craze.
I am of the opinion if serious efforts are made economic development of the country may be enhanced through injecting huge investment in telecommunication sector.
We hope that C-Future Telecom Exhibition and Telecom Excellence Award ceremony will help us in achieving our objectives. With the commencement of this event our local telecom industry will become more focus for foreign investors and we will start our journey towards a prosperous and brightest future in the world of communication.
