Her funeral prayer was offered at the Government College Ground in Fatehpur Thakiala. Thousands of people from all walks of life including heads and leaders of various political parties, social and political workers, high ranking civil and military officials and others attended the funeral.
Prominent among those who attended the funeral included Pakistan Muslim League President and ex Prime Minister of Pakistan Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Senator Tariq Azim Khan, Minister for Religious Affairs Ijaz-ul-Haq, AJK President Sardar Muhammad Anwar Khan, Honorary British Counsel in.

The PML Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Senator Tariq Azim and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Ijaz ul Haq flew to Nikayal from Islamabad this morning to attend the funeral.
They visited the AJK Prime Minister' s House in Nikayal and expressed condolence with Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan over the sad demise of his wife. They also met with other members of the bereaved family and expressed their deep sympathies.
They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Qul will be held on June 9 at 11.00 am at the PM House in Fatehpur Thakiyala.
