The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has inducted a fibre body pick-ups to its existing fleet of vehicles for providing 24-hour emergency service to its customers in the franchise areas of Sindh and Balochistan. SSGC Managing Director Munawar Baseer Ahmad inaugurated the 10 custom-built vehicles at a ceremony held in the company premises on Thursday.
In a statement here on Thursday, the SSGC MD while speaking on the occasion, said the launch of customised service vehicles for the company's 24-hour emergency service was a significant extension in its continuous efforts to raise its service standards.
He termed the rolling out of the new fleet of vehicles as yet 'another first' from the SSGC while adhering strictly to its culture of 'service with a smile'. He equated this concept of 'service with a smile' with 'service to humanity,' which should be the corner stone of the company's business.
He said another 14 customised service vehicles would be added in the coming months with even greater facilities to meet varied customer requirement. Munawar B. Ahmad said that SSGC was driven towards becoming one of the best utility organisations in the region and the fulfilment of this goal hinges on the continuous world-class service to its customers.
Earlier, while explaining the salient features of the new fleet of Suzuki pick-ups, SSGC (Customer Relations) Senior General Manager Azim Iqbal Siddiqui said that those vehicles owing to their fibre body and less metal to metal content were light weighted and hence consume less fuel.-PR
