Chief of the Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed, was visiting his airmen in Turkey where PAF F-16s contingent was engaged in a large scale multinational operational exercise "Anatolian Eagle".
Besides Pakistan, leading air forces from United States, Germany, France and Turkey were orchestrating air battle scenarios in a demanding operational environment. PAF contingent of six F-16s, led by Group Captain Azhar Hassan Rizvi, flew out to Turkey routing through friendly Islamic countries, where a warm welcome was accorded to the Pakistani contingent. The flying operations at Turkey would not only supplement training of PAF officers and men but would also serve as a milestone in strengthening ties among countries participating in the exercise.
