Upward trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Thursday as there was continued purchasing to meet the near-term demand, dealers said.
The July vaida opened at Rs 546.00 and closing was seen at the same level. The next vaida commenced at Rs 605.00 and closing was seen at the same level, they added.
The December vaida showed no change at the opening at Rs 506.90. Later, it improved with a gain of Rs 2.50 to be day's best at Rs 509.40. During the day, it lost Rs 1.90 to be day's lowest at Rs 507.50 and market settled at 508.20, dealers said.
