Prices move both ways on grain market

Prices moved both ways on the grain market on Thursday as a few number of buyers visited the market to make the new deals, dealers said. On the grams side, gram dal Punjab lost Rs 25 to Rs 3225-3325. Yellow peas Canada low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 1400 and good type was down by Rs 15 to Rs 1460, they added.
Yellow peas dal Canada lost Rs 25 to Rs 1575-1625 due to fresh arrival, they said. Other items did not move any side on the same side. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1340, other types maintained the overnight night levels in process of trading, they said. On the cereals side, wheat Mexipak was up by Rs 5 to Rs 1065.
