The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will outline its monetary policy for the first six months of the fiscal year 2006-07 (July-June) on July 29, a bank spokesman said on Friday. "The board of directors of the central bank will meet in Karachi on July 29 to discuss the Monetary Policy," SBP chief spokesman Syed Wasimuddin said.
"The policy statement will be released as soon as it is approved by the board," he said.
