The rupee trimmed some weakness versus the dollar in the open market, gaining three paisa for buying and selling at 60.55 and 60.60, respectively. Some dealers said that due to international market closer, activity was low and supply was enough to fulfil the requirements.
The dollar did not show any improvement versus the leading currencies in the world markets owing to weaker-than-expected US report, they said.
