Farmers being supplied fish seed at subsidised rates

With a view to promoting fisheries and aqua culture in the province, Fisheries Department has started supply of fish seed to the farmers across the province at subsidised rates. A spokesman of Fisheries Department said that high quality seed of fish varieties, Rohu, Mori, Theila, Silver Carp and Grass Carp is available in the hatcheries and nursery units.
