Mian Abuzar Shad was elected unopposed Chairman of Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) while Irfan Qaisar and Kbamis Saeed Butt won the slots of vice-chairmen.
According to details here on Tuesday, elections to the office of chairman and vice chairmen of the PIAF were held soon after the completion of executive members' tenure. The election process was started on June 28 with the issuance of nomination papers.
In his first address to the executive committee, Mian Abuzar Shad pledged to solve the problems being confronted to the business community. He said that the PIAF would continue to supplement the government efforts for bringing economic prosperity in the country. He said that the PIAF is an independent body and would pinpoint the lacunae in government business related policies.
He declared that PIAF is with the government to reduce unemployment and poverty. Irfan Qaisar and Khamis Saeed Butt also spoke on the occasion.
