The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notices in a petition filed by Chairman Punjab Labour Alliance Qazi Ahmed Hassan Khokhar praying to the court to declare MQM and other regional parties as anti-state parties.
The petitioner who approached the court against as many as 19 regional parties contended that these parties had opposed the creation of Pakistan. It was contended that MQM leaders are working for their vested interests.
He prayed to the court to restrain the respondent parties from carrying out their activities. The court after hearing the petitioner counsel at length issued notices to the respondents.
