The newly established branch of Citibank formally inaugurated here on Sunday evening. A large number of businessmen, exporters, journalists and elite of the city attended the inaugural ceremony. On this occasion, the Citibank management arranged a colourful programme "Soulful melodies" in which renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed.
Meanwhile, Vice President Branch Banking Head Mutahir Alvi while talking to local exporters and journalists said that opening of branch in this export-oriented city, hub of cottage industry of the country will provide modern banking facilities to its account holders. The step of opening of Citibank branch was taken keeping in view the importance and potential of Sialkot, he said.
