Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim said on Friday that President General Pervez Musharraf wanted Sindh to develop in real sense and has desired development works to be carried out at grass root level so that problems of common man could be resolved.
Talking to PML-Q delegations from Hyderabad, Kashmore, Umerkot and Nawabshah at the Chief Minister House, he said, "President Musharraf has saved the economy of the country and put it on the path of progress, therefore, the country needs his leadership."
Arbab Rahim asked the party workers and leaders to work day and night for reorganisation and membership drive of PML-Q by launching mass contacts and actively taking part in party elections. Chief minister viewed that PML-Q had restored its image, achieved success in local government polls and now exist in Sindh as a very organised and active organisation. Provincial Secretary General of the party, Nadir Akmal Leghari, Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi and others were also present in the meeting.
