Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) on Wednesday re-elected Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif as President, Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq as Chairman and Iqbal Zafar Jhagra as Secretary General for another term.
Besides, Makhdoom Muhammad Javed Hashmi has been elected as Senior Vice President, whereas Muhammad Ali Khan Hoti, Saranjam Zamindar and Mamnoon Hussain have been elected as vice presidents.
Chaudhry Muhammad Jaffar Iqbal has been elected as Additional Secretary General, Muhammad Pervez Malik as Secretary Finance and Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal as Information Secretary of the party.
The election was held here at the party's convention at a local hotel under the supervision of five-member election authority comprising Sartaj Aziz, former finance minister as chairman and Ghulam Dastgir Khan, Maimona Hashmi, Khawaja Qutub-ud-Din and Hamza as members of the authority.
