Justice Rana Baghwandas, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court after the Pakistan Chief Justice, took oath here on Wednesday as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan. Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday administered the oath at a ceremony held in the Supreme Court.
Justice Rana Baghwandas will perform as acting Chief Justice during the absence of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, who has left for Malaysia on an official visit.
